The owner of the project who has been farming for more than ten years is a cereal farmer. Most of the land is dedicated to winter wheat and winter rapeseed, with the remainder is sown with summer wheat. Over the years, the farm has evolved considerably, initially starting out as a livestock farm, then moving to a mixed farm, and now focusing on cereal production. With fewer helpers, grain farming is much more profitable for the project owner.
The farmer says that he has almost all the machinery needed to maintain the farm, but he has plans to improve and expand his machinery fleet in the future. In the nearest future he plans to buy a sprayer.
The purpose of this loan of EUR 12 000 is to increase his working capital. Most of the funds will be used to prepare for the upcoming season.
The farmer's declared land area is 157,66 ha, of which 50 ha are owned.
