About the project

Having started his agri-business in 2013, now the farmer cultivates a 20-hectare farm in Kelmė district. Half of the farm area is devoted to crops and the rest to meadows, where 13 beef cattle and 30 beef sheep graze. The project owner is farming with his wife - the total family's farm area is 30 hectares.

The farmer claims that the technical fleet is enough to satisfy the farm's needs - there are two tractors, two harvesters, an excavator, ploughs, a seed drill, and a cultivator used for the work.

After the end of the harvest season, the farmer takes the time to fix the machinery to ensure that everything will be ready for the next season. To implement his goal, the farmer is borrowing 8.000 €.
