“ZKPU Slavyantsi 04” is an agricultural cooperative located in the village of Slavyantsi, Sungurlare municipality, Burgas region, Bulgaria. Established in 2007, the cooperative continues the long-standing agricultural traditions of the region, providing employment and livelihood to the local community.

Currently, the cooperative manages a total area of 149.11 hectares, consisting of 35.36 hectares of vineyards, 4.45 hectares of cherry trees, and the remaining land allocated to grain cultivation, including wheat, sunflower, and alfalfa. The vineyard produce is supplied to a local distillery, which processes it into wines for both export and the domestic market.

In recent years, the cooperative has faced financial challenges due to the loss of sunflower crops for two consecutive years. The hybrid sunflower seeds used were found to have a germination issue, which was discovered too late to mitigate the losses. These difficulties have resulted in delayed loan repayments and an outstanding bank loan secured against agricultural land.

Now, the company is borrowing 20,202 € with the aim to refinance its previous loans with delays and an existing bank loan where the land is pledged. The loan will be secured by agricultural land.
