About the project

With this project, we invite you to invest in a livestock farm. A farmer manages 15,48 hectares in Biržai district, where 24 beef and dairy cattle graze. 1,5 hectares of farmland are forested. The farmer also has 20 hives.

The technical fleet consists of two tractors, a tedder, and haymaking equipment.

With this project, a farmer is borrowing 5.500 € to buy a hay baler. The purchased equipment will help reduce the costs the farmer incurs when purchasing pressing services from others and will make the process more efficient.

In the future, the farmer plans to increase the herd of livestock from and acquire Scottish Highlands cattle after receiving support from the National Paying Agency.

Area of declared land: 15,48 hectares, from which 4,7 hectares are owned by the project owner. The farmer has recently acquired a few more leased plots, so now about half of the farm land is his own.
