About the project
With this project, we invite the HeavyFinance investor community to invest in the development of a mixed farm in Lithuania. The farmer started her business in 1991 with only 20 hectares of arable land at the time. Since then, her business has grown to 301.75 ha. The most fertile land is used to grow wheat, corn and other cereals, some of which is sold and some of which is used for animal feed. The farm has 400 head of cattle, mostly dairy cows, but also beef cattle.
The farm is run with the help of the farmer's family and 4 other workers. This team takes care of all the cattle. The entrepreneur admits that dairy farming is difficult and jokingly refers to it as an art, but adds that with years of experience and the necessary infrastructure, it is definitely possible to have a balanced business in this area. This is also demonstrated by the farm's strong financial situation.
The farm's machinery fleet consists of a front-end loader, a tractor, two mowers, a slurry harvester, a shaker and other farm maintenance tools.
The HeavyFinance investor community has already financed several loans for this farmer, with a remaining balance of 238 832,13 €.
The farmer is now borrowing 41 500 € from the HeavyFinace investor community. The project will be used to refinance a loan - the project owner is actively following the farm's cash flow and is now borrowing on better terms to repay a different loan. The loan will be secured by a pledge of 476 units of biological assets.

Project risks
For this project, there is a risk of losing all the profits made and the funds invested.
In this case, if the Project Owner fails to fulfill its obligations, the Platform Operator will take all necessary measures to protect the interests of investors and use the provided collateral, but the Platform Operator does not guarantee the full fulfillment of the Project Owner's obligations.
Financial agreements are not subject to the insurance protection established by the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.
Additional information:
If the project owner does not collect the amounts to be financed, the collected funds will be returned to the funders by transferring them to the account from which they were transferred. The Platform Operator also has the right to offer the Project Owner to reduce the amount to be financed during the Project financing term or to extend the Project financing term. In this case, if the amount to be financed is reduced or the term of financing the Project is extended, it shall in all cases be announced on the Platform and the Fund's financiers shall be informed.
