HeavyFinance raised more than €200K pre-seed round for further product development and growth acceleration. The company attracted investments from one of the most reputable startup accelerators in Europe Startup Wise Guys and also Lithuanian businessman Valdemaras Raščiauskas.
Laimonas Noreika, CEO of HeavyFinance, says that this round allows the company to reach milestones planned in order to raise a seed round in Q2 2021.
“As this company has a great potential for international growth, we decided to work with venture capital firms for further expansion. HeavyFinance is open for global retail and institutional investors from day one and we’re delighted to see many German and Spanish investors showing great interest in our platform. We’re also gaining traction in other countries”, said Laimonas Noreika.
Furthermore, the firm continue following multi-domestic strategy in working with farmers in need for funding. HeavyFinance has a customized service offering and marketing strategy to match different national conditions of Bulgaria, Lithuania and Portugal. Following this strategy, HeavyFinance is planning to offer services to farmers in more countries in Europe.
“Although the Baltic crowdfunding platforms are often concentrated within the region, we see that HeavyFinance has a lot of potentials to expand on a European scale,” says Jonė Vaitulevičiūtė, a partner at Startup Wise Guys.
